NEWS:
On Saturday, 13 May, I will be performing with the eclectic band the Quahog Qafé at the Hope Street Farmers Market in Lippitt Park (at the convergence of Hope Street and Blackstone Boulevard, in Providence, RI. The Quahog Qafé, is an offshoot of the Quahog Quire, but adds instrumentation to some of the songs, as well as playing instrumental tunes.
The Hope Street Farmers Market is a great place to shop for locally grown produce, meat, cheese, seafood and all kinds of other locally made products. Come out and enjoy the market and the live music! The Market runs every Saturday from 9 to 1, and from May through October. They have different music every week. The Quahog Qafé will be there again on Saturday, July 8.

Meanwhile, the regular monthly sings with the Quahog Quire are still on hold due to COVID19 and its endless variants. But we have been talking about resuming them sometime in the coming months.
This ordinarily happens the first Monday of each month, 7 to 9 pm. We hope to resume some time in the spring of 2023.
At The Parlour
1119 N. Main Street (at 3rd Street)
Providence, RI 02904
The Quahog Quire is a vocal group that sings a variety of folk music from the British Isles and America, all unaccompanied. We encourage singing along, and even come and lead a song, if you have a favorite you can teach us. We do sea shanties and other work songs, old labor songs, hymns, riddle songs, and anything good for group singing. Come and join in! We have won the Motif Music Award for best Americana Choral Act, and we opened the 2017 Providence Folk Festival.
